Actabl, Reeco partner for forecasting and procurement platforms

Actabl and Reeco have partnered for an integration that connects Actabl’s ProfitSword forecasting platform with Reeco’s AI-powered procure-to-pay system, allowing hotel operators to compare purchasing activity against financial forecasts.

The partnership is designed to bring forecast intelligence directly into hotel procurement workflows. Through the integration, ProfitSword forecast data is incorporated into Reeco’s financial controls, enabling hotel teams to automatically evaluate purchases against current forecasts. The system can flag potential budget overruns or trigger approval workflows before a purchase order is created. Similar controls can also be applied when invoices are processed.

According to the companies, the integration addresses a longstanding disconnect between financial planning and day-to-day purchasing decisions. Hotel operators continue to face rising costs and pressure on margins, while purchasing teams often rely on historical reports or static budgets and finance teams assess performance only after expenses have been incurred.

In addition to forecast-based controls, Reeco’s platform uses artificial intelligence to generate purchasing recommendations based on purchasing history, inventory levels and operational patterns. The technology also identifies pricing anomalies and automates invoice coding. Together, the companies said, these capabilities create a stronger link between financial planning and hotel operations.

For hotel owners, operators and management companies, the integration aims to provide greater visibility into spending before purchases are completed, supporting tighter cost controls, improved efficiency and stronger gross operating profit.

“Hotels don't have a reporting problem. They have a decision-making problem,” Henrik Shimony, co-founder and CEO of Reeco, said in a statement. “Together with Actabl, we're turning forecast intelligence into action and showing what the next generation of hospitality technology can look like: connected, proactive and designed to help operators maintain control and protect margins.”

Steven Moore, CEO of Actabl, said the partnership is focused on helping mutual customers make better operational decisions. “Partnerships are most impactful when they solve real challenges for our mutual customers,” Moore said. “This partnership reflects our shared belief that financial intelligence should not stop at the report. Together, we're enabling a more connected and innovative hospitality technology ecosystem.”

The integration is now available for mutual customers using both ProfitSword and Reeco.
