Hospitality management and investment firm Mehr Consultancy has launched a new sales initiative aimed at boosting top-line revenue performance for hotels across all market segments.
Known as MEHRIT, the program is designed to address the widening gap between available revenue opportunities and hotels’ ability to consistently capture them. For hotels under Irving, Texas-based Mehr Consultancy’s full management portfolio, MEHRIT integrates directly with operations enhancing collaboration between sales and property teams, according to the company.
“We’ve always believed hotel performance depends on strong, proactive sales,” Harmeet Mann, CEO of Mehr Consultancy, said in a statement. “MEHRIT is the natural evolution of that philosophy and born from our success in driving operational results across our own portfolio. With MEHRIT, we’re extending that same level of service, responsiveness and owner-aligned revenue optimization to hotel owners everywhere.”
The program has full-service sales support customized to each property’s needs, led by sales directors who manage outreach, brand RFPs and lead flow-through platforms such as Cvent and MeetingBroker. MEHRIT also emphasizes high-touch client engagement, hosting site tours, ensuring consistent follow-up on all inquiries and proposals and building long-term client relationships, according to the company.
Transparency and accountability are a key focus of the initiative with detailed reporting that compares projected and actual revenue, tracks sales activities and is designed to provide owners with clear visibility into performance. Revenue intelligence, including analysis of STR and occupancy reports, is also incorporated to inform market positioning and data-driven decision making.
“While unfortunate, the reality is that hotels lose significant revenue each year simply because sales opportunities aren’t managed quickly or consistently,” said Manjot Bains, COO of Mehr Consultancy. “MEHRIT was created to change that. Our team ensures every lead, inquiry and proposal is handled with the urgency and professionalism today’s travelers demand.”
