Naples Grande Beach Resort plans early 2027 reopening

Naples Grande Beach Resort is poised to undergo a propertywide renovation, which includes updates to guestrooms, public areas, dining venues and meeting spaces and is expected to be completed later this year.

The Florida resort—which is managed by Boston, Mass.-based Pyramid Global Hospitality—is working with architecture firm Cooper Carry, interior design studio Parker Torres Design and hospitality design firm EDG on the project. According to the resort, the updated design will draw inspiration from the Naples coastline, Clam Pass and the historic Naples Pier, incorporating natural materials and coastal color palettes throughout the property, which will reopen for guests in 2027.

“This renovation ushers in a bold new era for Naples’ most iconic resort,” Gary Sims, managing director of Naples Grande Beach Resort, said in a statement. “We’re reimagining the guest experience from the ground up, honoring the timeless charm and natural beauty of Naples while elevating every detail, from arrival to accommodations, dining and social spaces.”

Planned updates to the lobby include new social spaces, expanded landscaping, a suspended art installation, a lobby café and market and a new lobby bar with terrace seating. Dining venues will also be redesigned to strengthen indoor-outdoor connectivity.

The resort’s 474 guestrooms and suites, meanwhile, will undergo a full redesign, including updated bathrooms with oversized showers and upgraded vanities, as well as redesigned living areas with custom furnishings and lighting. Balconies overlooking the Gulf Coast will also be renovated.

In addition, the property plans enhancements to select meeting and event venues. A former stand-alone restaurant space will be converted into a multi-functional venue for weddings, receptions, executive retreats and social events.
