Prestige Hospitality grows in Northeast with three new additions

Prestige Hospitality Group continues to expand its management footprint in the Northeast with the opening of two new hotels and the addition of a university-area property and golf course.

Hotel Indigo North Conway in New Hampshire has opened at the Intervale Scenic Vista in North Conway Village. The 70-room boutique property includes a restaurant and bar, mini-spa, meeting space, fitness center and indoor heated pool. The hotel offers views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range and is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury & Lifestyle Collection.

“Hotel Indigo is the perfect match for this North Conway retreat,” James Frenis, CEO of Albany, N.Y.-based Prestige Hospitality Group, said in a statement. “Connecting with the neighborhood story meant creating a stay that reflects and supports the mountain village experience.”

In addition, Prestige Hospitality Group has assumed management of the newly opened Comfort Suites Central Valley – Woodbury in Central Valley, N.Y. The 88-suite hotel—owned by Aeonn—is located off Interstate 87 near Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, with access to West Point and LEGOLAND New York Resort. Amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, an indoor heated pool, fitness center and meeting space.

Finally, Prestige Hospitality Group has further expanded its management portfolio with the addition of the Best Western University Inn in Canton, N.Y., along with the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course at St. Lawrence University.

The hotel features an indoor pool, fitness facilities, banquet and dining space and full-service restaurant and lounge. The adjacent Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 public course serving university guests, local golfers and group outings.

“With its vibrant campus environment and active alumni network, we look forward to strengthening the St. Lawrence University connection and showcasing the broader St. Lawrence River Valley,” said Frenis.
