Mexico City-based Namron Hospitality has reopened The William—a 33-suite boutique hotel in Midtown Manhattan—expanding the company’s U.S. presence following two recent openings in Miami.
The property occupies two interconnected Beaux Arts brownstones that formerly operated as a private social club for Williams College alumni in the 1920s. Located near Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal, the six-story hotel has undergone a renovation designed to preserve historic architectural elements while updating guest accommodations and public spaces.
Design of the interiors was completed through a collaboration among In Situ Design, Lilian B. Interiors and artist William Engel. Each suite features individualized design elements and modern furnishings. Accommodations range from studio layouts with kitchenettes to a penthouse suite with a private terrace.
The ground floor includes The Raines Law Room, an existing cocktail venue integrated into the hotel’s public space offering. The East 39th Street hotel has also added a guest services program focused on curated local experiences across arts, dining and cultural attractions in New York City.
Late last year, the boutique management company opened Maison Felix, as well as the Le Particular, both of which are in Miami Beach, Fla.
