Evolution Hospitality has assumed management and operations of Balfour Miami Beach, an 82-room boutique hotel located in the South of Fifth neighborhood of Miami Beach, Fla.
Located at the intersection of Ocean Drive and 4th Street, Balfour Miami Beach was designed by Anton Skislewicz and has operated in the South Beach market since 1940. The hotel recently transitioned into Wyndham’s Registry Collection, a portfolio of independently operated hotels. Asset manager FullG CRE Investments Inc. selected San Clemente, Calif.-based Evolution Hospitality, a subsidiary of Aimbridge Hospitality, to oversee operations of the hotel.
“We look forward to managing Balfour Miami Beach and working with FullG on the property’s next phase,” Christopher Tatum, president of the full-service division for Aimbridge Hospitality and Evolution Hospitality, said in a statement. “The hotel has an established presence in the market, and our role will focus on day-to-day operations and performance.”
“We chose Evolution Hospitality to manage this asset based on its experience with lifestyle hotels and its operational platform,” Andrew Stegen, executive vp of operations for FullG, said in a statement.
The hotel is within walking distance of the shoreline and sits near dining, retail, and cultural venues in the South of Fifth area. On-site food and beverage offerings include Laurel Miami, a restaurant focused on Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, and SoFi Coffee, a neighborhood café.
