Crestline Hotels & Resorts has been selected to manage Hotel Spero Vignette Collection, an IHG Hotel, located in San Francisco’s Union Square district.
Originally constructed in the 1920s, Hotel Spero showcases preserved Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and includes 236 guestrooms. With the addition of Hotel Spero—which is located on Taylor Street some 13 miles from San Francisco International Airport—Crestline expands its California third-party management portfolio to nine hotels.
“We are delighted to bring Crestline’s signature service and management expertise to this distinctive hotel in the heart of San Francisco as we continue to grow our portfolio of luxury and lifestyle hotels,” James Carroll, president and CEO of Fairfax, Va.-based Crestline Hotels & Resorts, said in a statement.
The hotel’s grand lobby has intricate tilework, soaring ceilings and curated local artwork designed to reflects the city’s vibrant culture, according to the company. Guestrooms and suites feature sophisticated finishes, warm ambient lighting, plush fabrics and modern geometric accents. Enhancements include walk-in, glass-enclosed showers with Spanish tile, well-lit workspaces, oversized windows and 50-inch flat-screen televisions.
The hotel has 3,000 square-feet of flexible meeting and event space across six venues, accommodating meetings, special events and weddings. Additional amenities include a 24/7 fitness center with cardio and strength-training equipment, as well as a pet-friendly policy.
In addition, Hotel Spero’s signature restaurant will undergo a transformation and repositioning in the coming months.
“We look forward to introducing a new, vibrant restaurant concept offering exceptional food and beverage that will create a favorite gathering spot for visitors and locals,” said Orcun Turkay, VP of food & beverage for Crestline Hotels & Resorts.
