Design brand Arper recently released extensions to its Ghia and Kata collections, designed by Altherr Désile Park. Both of these pieces, the Ghia 74 and Kata Chair, have a soft, organic visual presence.
The Ghia 74 table has a large, solid tabletop with a geometric shape. It is available in three sizes. The collection is FSC-certified, and the design, assembly and delivery are made to reduce the environmental impact of the product.
The Kata Chair uses and celebrates the materiality of wood as an everyday piece. This chair is available with options of a wood or upholstered shell. A combination of a solid wood frame and a textured custom patterned shell is available with and without armrests and in a range of finishes: natural, black and rust oak. The upholstered version and cushions have decorative stitching, available in contrasting colors or tone-on tone. This collection is also FSC-certified with easy disassembly, designed for greater sustainable impact.
