Earlier this year, Foscarini launched Pli & Anoor during Milan Design Week. The two lighting options have recently been made available in the U.S.
Pli, designed by Felicia Arvid, is the designer’s first lighting unit. Created as a “non-invasive” lighting fixture, Arvid began her design process with the light source, designing the shade around an LED strip of lights to create a dimensional and diffusing shade made of acoustic fabric or paper. PLi comes in wood or paper for two different effects.
Anoor, designed by Oscar and Gabriele Buratti, is a sculptural lamp that reflects its light on the wall behind it to create an illuminating glow. Anoor’s minimal and sleek design allows it to act as both a light source and art piece when multiple are installed.
