Quiet Panels: Acoustic Dimension Series from 3form Elements

3form Elements is expanding their acoustic offerings with the launch of the Acoustic Dimension Series. Designed to tamp down sound, the series includes four new dimensional acoustic panels: Stave, Tignum, Zenith and Flute.

Stave and Tignum offer flexible installation choices for both walls and ceilings, enabling seamless wall-to-ceiling transitions. Zenith and Flute are designed exclusively for wall applications.

Each product in the Acoustic Dimension Series has a unique geometric form. Stave has slim slats spaced two inches apart for a sleek, low-profile design. Tignum, with its thicker blades spaced further apart, evokes the appearance of beams. Zenith has modern, triangular crests and Flute rounds out the series with its cylindrical, ribbed appearance.

Crafted entirely from Sola Felt—3form’s Declare Label Red List Free 50 percent post-consumer recycled PET material—the acoustic panels combine acoustic performance with NRC ratings of 0.75 for Stave, 0.90 for Tignum and 0.95 for Zenith and Flute. The series is available in 22 standard Sola Felt colors, ranging from subtle neutrals to vibrant hues, and a suite of high-resolution printed textures, which are added to the Sola Felt using water-based ink. Texture options include four woodgrains that play into the wood-inspired look of Stave and Tignum, as well as two stone textures. Designers also can specify the color of the Sola Felt backer visible in the Stave and Tignum panels.
