Luum Textiles has added Earthbound, a chenille upholstery textile, to its recently launched Five Elements collection. The recycled straight and wool chenille yarns are woven into a dimensional, earthy surface texture with multi-color flecks. Inspired by rich, colorful landscapes, Earthbound is the eighth pattern to join the company’s Garment Waste Platform which contains fabrics from pre-crafted and post-consumer garment waste.
Earthbound shares yarn components with Melange Check, Wool Fleck, Graph Speck, Everyday Boucle, Forward Motion and Stability, which are other Garment Waste textiles that coordinate color palettes across the 16 available colorways.
