Textile and acoustical management solutions company Carnegie has launched three new window fabrics in partnership with Création Baumann. As an extension of the Conscious Collection, the new drapery—Shadow V, Cloud and Shelter—have heat- and glare-protection technology.
The draperies are semi-transparent, functional aluminum-metalized textiles. By reflecting the sun's rays, these draperies help to regulate daylight and radiation, reducing the solar energy load into a building.
The new window fabrics are 100 percent PVC-free, finish-free and PFAS-free. Other sustainability certifications include Manufacturer ISO 9001/14001 certified, Oeko-Tex Standard 100, SCS Indoor Advantage TM Gold. The products also contribute to LEED certification and meet California Indoor Air Quality Specification CA 01350.
