Hideaway Inns has officially opened its first hotel, a 55-room property at the base of New Hampshire’s Mount Sunapee.
Developed by Hideaway Inns and managed by Revival Hotels, the new Hideaway Inn Mt. Sunapee is located in Newbury, near Lake Sunapee State Beach and offers access to year-round recreation at the Vail-owned mountain. Hideaway Inns plans to open two additional properties by the end of 2025, one in Mt. Snow, VT, and another in Sugar Hill, N.H. Longer term, the company is targeting 25 openings across regional markets over the next five years.
“We created Hideaway Inns to fill a gap in the market—giving convenient access to the destinations that travelers love but in places that big brands often overlook,” Saxton Sharad, founding partner and CEO of Hideaway Inns, said in a statement. “The Mt. Sunapee property sets the tone for the brand and we could not be more excited to kick off our journey here.”
The property will operate under Revival Hotels’ “Invisible Hospitality” model, which allows guests to check in directly without a front desk. Rooms are individually designed and equipped with features such as Crosley record players, rainfall showerheads and amenities from The Botanist and The Chemist. Guests also have access to the HI Innsider Guide, a mobile app offering local recommendations and hotel information.
Shared spaces at the hotel include a game lounge known as The Living Room, a children’s area called The Hideout and The Yard, which features indoor recreation such as bocce and cornhole. Additional offerings include a 24/7 coffee bar, curated vending machines and co-working space.
