Hotel management firm Atrium Hospitality recently convened nearly 400 leaders from across its portfolio for its annual SPIRIT Leadership Conference in Rogers, Ark.
Taking place at Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas – Hotel, Spa & Convention Center, the multi-day event brought together general managers, directors of sales and marketing, human resources leaders, finance directors and corporate executives. The executives were brought together to review 2025 performance, align around company values and focus on leadership development.
Centered on the Alpharetta, Ga.-based company’s SPIRIT values—Service, Perseverance, Inclusion, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork—the conference emphasized strategies to enhance both operational performance and organizational culture. Programming also was designed to reinforce Atrium’s leadership model, with a focus on agility, accountability and people-first leadership.
“Atrium Hospitality’s continued success is driven by the passion and dedication of our leaders and associates,” Rob Mangiarelli, CEO, Atrium Hospitality, said in a statement. “The SPIRIT Leadership Conference is an opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments, invest in our people and align on how we continue to lead with purpose—both within our hotels and in the communities we serve.”
Keynote speaker Colette Carlson—CPAE Hall of Fame inductee and certified speaking professional—delivered a presentation on “The Human Edge,” focusing on building trust, strengthening connections and improving team performance in a rapidly evolving workplace.
The conference also included Atrium’s annual awards program, recognizing top-performing hotels and teams for operational excellence, guest satisfaction and alignment with company values. In addition, recent graduates of the AtriumRISE General Manager Development Program were recognized.
As part of its community engagement efforts, attendees participated in a service initiative in partnership with Kellogg Company. Through a “School Supply Stampede,” volunteers assembled 1,000 backpacks filled with supplies for children supported by Samaritan Community Center.
Atrium also introduced a new scholarship program tied to the conference, supporting students pursuing hospitality-related degrees. Applicants submitted videos outlining their career goals and alignment with the company’s core values. Three students from the University of Arkansas were selected as inaugural recipients.
“A defining part of our culture is investing in people—both within Atrium and in the communities where we operate,” added Kimberly Furlong, president of Atrium Hospitality.
