Hotel operator Schulte Hospitality Group has appointed Sanjhi Agrawal as EVP, operations accounting and finance.

Agrawal brings more than 15 years of finance experience to the role and will oversee the company’s hotel accounting and finance functions, including accounting operations, reporting, accounts payable, tax and internal audit teams. She will work closely with operations teams and ownership groups on financial controls, reporting and portfolio performance initiatives across the company’s portfolio of some 250 hotels globally.

Most recently, Agrawal led a 150-person global finance organization at Eaton Corporation, where she integrated planning, analytics, and automation into a unified operating model. Earlier in her career, she held senior finance and controllership positions at Brown-Forman Corporation, overseeing areas including accounting and reporting, global treasury, mergers and acquisitions and financial planning and analysis.

Agrawal will report to Brian Fitzgerald, who joined the Louisville, Ky.-based company as CFO late last year as Schulte Hospitality continues investing in its finance and operations infrastructure.

“Sanjhi brings deep accounting, treasury and enterprise finance experience across complex, global environments,” Fitzgerald said in a statement. “She has a strong track record of modernizing accounting and reporting processes, improving forecasting discipline with advanced automation tools and designing operating models that support scale while maintaining rigor. I’m excited for her to elevate our finance organization as we continue to grow.”
