DMF Lighting has released an updated version of its A Series illuminated room signage, adding an integrated dual-voltage driver and a magnetic faceplate retention system intended to simplify installation and service access.
The ADA-compliant wall sign is designed with a modular structure that integrates the driver, light engine and mounting plate, enabling direct line-voltage wiring, according to the Carson, Calif.-based architectural lighting manufacturer. The fixture installs into standard 4-inch octagon and round junction boxes, as well as DMF’s fire-rated F4NC junction box.
The rectangular sign features a 1/2-inch profile and measures 4-inches by 7.3-inches. Text is illuminated through a diffused lens and is available in 2700K or 3000K color temperatures. Faceplates support vertical or horizontal orientation with flexible text placement. Standard finish is black, with custom RAL color options available.
The signage is offered with a 90+ color rendering index (CRI) and color consistency within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse. The design allows the frame and electrical components to ship separately from the faceplate to support phased installation. The A Series includes Braille for accessibility compliance and meets California Title 24 and ENERGY STAR requirements.
