G6 Hospitality—parent company of the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands—has completed a nationwide series of franchise owner town halls.
The meeting brought together senior leadership and more than 150 franchise owners across the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, California, Arizona and Oregon. According to the Dallas-based company, the town halls will become a recurring regional engagement initiative as G6 Hospitality continues to invest in technology, commercial programs, operations and franchise support.
The meetings followed the company’s annual franchise convention in Cancún earlier this year and were held to continue discussions with franchise owners on business performance, regional market conditions and operational priorities. Discussions focused on revenue growth, technology, marketing, operations, sales support and franchise performance.
Company leaders also provided updates on initiatives introduced earlier this year, including revenue management investments, technology solutions, direct booking efforts, safety programs and operational tools. Additional topics included technology adoption, operational efficiencies and commercial support intended to improve long-term profitability.
“Over the past few weeks, I've had the opportunity to travel across the U.S., spend time with our franchise owners and see our business through their eyes,” Ankit Tandon, vice chairman of G6 Hospitality, said in a statement. “Every market is different, every owner has a unique story and every conversation offers a perspective that you simply can't gain from a boardroom.”
“Our goal is to ensure the work happening across G6 translates into meaningful improvements for our franchise owners,” added Anuj Ladha, national head of brand performance for G6 Hospitality.
