As has been noted over the past year, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is boosting hotel profits in cities along the way. According to JLL’s latest data, hotels in cities along the tour route outperform the global average by 490 basis points.
A year ago, STR reported that the tour, then still only in the U.S., had boosted guestroom revenue at hotels in visited cities by an estimated $208 million—and that estimate, at the time, was “conservative,” accounting exclusively for concert nights.
Of the visited cities, Edinburgh fared best, with monthly revenue per available room up about 60 percent compared to the same time in 2019.
