Hendricks Commercial Properties buys Wisconsin’s Charmont Hotel

The Charmont Hotel, a 67-room hotel property in La Crosse, Wisc., has been sold to Hendricks Commercial Properties in a deal facilitated by Marcus & Millichap.

The boutique hotel is set in a restored 19th-century candy factory and has a full-service restaurant, rooftop terrace, fitness center and more than 900 square-feet of meeting space. Open since 2017, the property is located near the Mississippi River and close to restaurants, shops and cultural attractions.

Ebrahim Valliani, Michael Klar and Dan Danielak—investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook and Los Angelos offices—in association with Todd Lindblom, Marcus & Millichap’s Wisconsin broker of record, had the exclusive listing. The group marketed the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor group, and procured the buyer, Diane Hendricks, founder of Hendricks Commercial Properties. The transaction received additional support from Chris Gomes and Allan Miller of the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team.

“The closing process was seamless, with all parties working together to ensure a smooth transition,” Ebrahim Valliani, managing director investments, said in a statement. “The Charmant Hotel is an exceptional asset for the region, and we’re pleased to have helped facilitate its successful sale.”
