Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. has entered into a binding agreement with a third party to sell the Jewel Palm Beach for a total consideration of $68 million in cash. Other terms were not disclosed.
The luxury all-inclusive resort company has entered into a binding agreement with a third party to sell the Punta Cana, Dominican Republic property. The sale of the resort is subject to customary closing conditions. Playa expects the transaction to close in the third quarter of 2024.
Jewel Palm Beach opened less than two years ago and was the Jewel Resorts brand's debut in the Dominican Republic.
