The 117-room Motel 6 in Jacksonville, NC., has been sold in a deal facilitated by Marcus & Millichap. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed.
The two-story property—which was built in 1993—is located on 2.7 acres. The hotel is close to U.S. Highway 17 connecting Jacksonville to Wilmington and New Bern and is near Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Coastal Carolina Community College and Onslow Beach. The property includes on-site parking, an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a laundry room.
Eric Webster, director investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Charleston office, as well as Jack Davis and Joce Messinger of Marcus & Millichap, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.
“Through our marketing process we were able to generate multiple offers from in-state and out-of-state buyers before ultimately selecting a buyer who was looking to expand his footprint in the Carolinas,” Webster said in a statement.
