KHP Capital Partners has acquired the 188-room Epicurean Hotel, Autograph Collection, in Tampa from Mainsail Lodging & Development. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed.
Tampa,-based Mainsail will continue to operate the Florida hotel under the new ownership. The Plasencia Group represented Mainsail in the transaction, which was led by CEO Lou Plasencia and managing directors Nick Plasencia, John Plasencia and Chris Plasencia.
The Epicurean Hotel opened in 2013 as Marriott's first ground-up Autograph Collection property. In 2025, Mainsail completed an expansion that added 51 guestrooms, including eight apartment-style suites, as well as rooftop indoor and outdoor event space. The hotel is in Tampa's Hyde Park neighborhood along South Howard Avenue and is within walking distance of Hyde Park Village and Bayshore Boulevard.
