Keshav Management has purchased the Residence Inn Macon, Ga. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Hunter Hotel Advisors represented the institutional seller.
“We had a great experience working with Hunter Hotel Advisors, especially Mayank [Patel] and his team on this acquisition,” Viraj Patel of Keshav Management said in a statement.
Located off I-75 in the fourth largest city in Georgia, the 78-key Residence Inn Macon is near several demand generators, including the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, Ocmulgee National Monument and Macon Coliseum. Macon is home to major corporations such as GEICO, Georgia Farm Bureau and YKK USA, which employ thousands of locals and frequently attract business travelers. Mercer University and Wesleyan College, with a combined student population of over 9,700, drive demand in the educational sector.
The Residence Inn Macon has guestrooms with ergonomic desks and fully equipped kitchens. The hotel also has an indoor pool and fitness center.
“We are extremely happy to have consummated another transaction for our client,” said Mayank Patel, senior vice president at Hunter. “The hotel was a strategic disposition for the seller and will also be an attractive addition to the buyer’s portfolio.”
