Sioux Falls, S.D.-based KAJ Hospitality has acquired both the Hilton Garden Inn Fargo and Home2 Suites by Hilton Fargo, N.D. These acquisitions mark KAJ's fifth and sixth hotels in the Fargo area.
"We are thrilled to expand our presence in Fargo with the acquisition of Hilton Garden Inn Fargo and Home2 Suites by Hilton Fargo," KAJ Hospitality Chief Vision Officer Aaron Johnson said in a statement. "Having operated hotels in the market since 2002, Fargo holds a special place in our hearts. These acquisitions allow us to deepen our roots in the community while continuing to deliver memorable guest experiences."
Located in the shopping district of Fargo, Hilton Garden Inn Fargo is near popular retail destinations and local attractions. Hilton Garden Inn Fargo has 110 guestrooms, a restaurant and bar, six versatile meeting spaces totaling over 11,000 square feet and recreational facilities including a fitness center, swimming pool and whirlpool. A forthcoming renovation of all guest rooms and public spaces is planned.
The recently-renovated Home2 Suites by Hilton Fargo, with modern amenities and extended-stay options, complements the portfolio with spacious suites, eco-friendly features and convenient location. Guests can enjoy amenities such as fully equipped kitchens, complimentary breakfast, fitness center and indoor pool. The two properties are located adjacent to each other near West Acres Mall.
KAJ Hospitality now manages a portfolio of 17 Hilton, Marriott and IHG properties across the Midwest.
"Our team is dedicated to upholding KAJ Hospitality's core values of genuine hospitality through teamwork, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued," Johnson said. “Our Fargo team is already active in the Fargo community by regularly bringing KAJ Cares volunteer events to local nonprofits such as Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels and River Keepers of Fargo-Moorhead. We look forward to team members from these new properties joining in on our spirit of service.”
