Hudson West Hospitality has purchased the Hudson River Hotel, a 56-room high-rise hotel in New York, for $18.2 million. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Marcus & Millichap's Jerry Swon, Robert Hunter and Leo Reilly—investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan and Fort Lauderdale offices—had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the institutional seller and procured the buyer.
"The hotel had been on the market several times over the past few years, but offers that were generated never resulted in a sale," Swon said in a statement. "We are pleased that our efforts were able to secure the right buyer and purchase price to successfully transact the asset on behalf of our client."
Located at 442 W 36th St., the 20,344-square-foot, 15-floor boutique hotel is located in Manhattan, near Hudson Yards, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Central Park and the High Line.
