An institutional seller, represented by Hunter Hotel Advisors' VP Chase Perry, sold the Hampton Inn Norfolk Naval Base. A regional owner and operator purchased the property in late August. Terms were not disclosed.
The 117-key Hampton Inn Norfolk Naval Base sits adjacent to Naval Station Norfolk, which is the world’s largest naval air station and serves as the home to more than 121,000 military and civilian personnel. It is close to nearby attractions including Sewells Point Golf Course, Nauticus Maritime Museum and the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
“We are excited to complete another transaction as part of our client’s ongoing strategic disposition process,” Perry said in a statement. “Congratulations to the buyer on their outstanding execution of a uniquely structured transaction. The hotel will be an excellent addition to their growing portfolio.”
Sitting four stories high, the Hampton Inn Norfolk Naval Base has comfortable amenities along with an indoor pool, fitness center and business center.
