The Inlet Inn—a boutique waterfront hotel in Beaufort, N.C.—has been sold to Inlet Inn Crystal Coast in a deal facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed.
Located along the Intracoastal Waterway, the property previously underwent a comprehensive reinvestment program in 2019 aimed at enhancing the guest experience and repositioning the asset. The hotel has since operated as a boutique lodging option within the coastal market.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Rick Redmond, Christopher Passeggiata, David Greenberg and Gabriel Shamay represented the seller, Inlet Inn NC, in the transaction.
“Inlet Inn’s overall quality, exceptional service and prime location are emblematic of Beaufort’s continued evolution into a high-end coastal destination,” Redmond said in a statement. “As an investment, it has demonstrated strong and consistent performance supported by its boutique positioning and ideal waterfront setting.”
“Following an extensive marketing effort, we attracted 11 offers from qualified purchasers for the Inlet Inn. The seller selected a first-time hotel owner whose vision aligns with preserving the property’s historic character while maintaining its role as a boutique hotel in the local market,” added Passeggiata.
