Comfort Suites near Disney World changes hands

The Comfort Inn & Suites in the Walt Disney World area of Kissimmee, Fla., has been sold in a deal facilitated by AHG Brokerage.

The acquirer of the 197-room hotel was an out-of-state investor group backed by institutional-style funding. The buyer was sourced directly through AHG Brokerage’s nationwide database, industry relationships and strategic marketing initiatives, according to the Kissimmee, Fla.-based advisory firm, which is a member of Hotel Brokers International.

The company further noted its national marketing platform and proprietary buyer network generated more than 100 executed non-disclosure agreements from qualified buyers, ultimately resulting in multiple competitive offers. The asset sold at 98 percent of the listing price, according to the company.

“This transaction is a strong example of how disciplined marketing, broad investor reach and deep hospitality expertise can create meaningful competition—even for assets facing operational headwinds,” Anup Shah, broker and president of AHG Brokerage, said in a statement.
