The Comfort Inn East Evansville has been sold by Huff, Niehaus & Associates on behalf of Priyansu Hotels. The three-story, limited-service hotel consists of 111 guestrooms and was acquired by Shriv Shakti Hospitality.
The property was acquired for less than $50,000 per key and new ownership plans to continue to operate the property as a Comfort Inn and has planned improvements for the hotel. The hotel is located in Evansville, Ind., which is the hub of a 24-county regional economic area and is recognized as the center of trade for a portion of Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
The deal was brokered by Brandt Niehaus, president of Huff, Niehaus & Associates, Inc., and member of Hotel Brokers International.
