Ashford Hospitality Trust sold the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas near the Galleria. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed. Hunter Advisors brokered the sale, marking the third hotel sold from a portfolio that also included the Embassy Suites Austin Arboretum and Embassy Suites Houston Galleria.

The transaction was brokered by Kami Burnette, senior vice president, and Mason McDavid, vice president.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Near The Galleria is a 150-suite, six-story hotel originally constructed in 1998. The property completed a comprehensive renovation of guestrooms, public space and back-of-house areas in 2024.

Strategically located at the intersection of Interstate 635 and the Dallas North Tollway, the hotel benefits from visibility and access along two of the region’s busiest corridors. The property is minutes from Galleria Dallas, a major retail destination that attracts approximately 12 million annual visitors, as well as demand generators including IBM SoftLayer Technologies, Dallas College Brookhaven Campus, Addison Airport and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

“The sale reflects continued investor demand for well-located assets in high-growth markets at a reasonable basis,” Burnette said in a statement. “With a fully renovated hotel, the buyer will focus on capturing market share and driving operational efficiencies.”

Situated in North Dallas, the hotel is positioned within one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States. The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is home to approximately 7.5 million residents and continues to experience population growth and economic expansion supported by a diverse mix of corporate headquarters, educational institutions and transportation infrastructure.

“I grew up 10 minutes down the road from this hotel, so I know exactly why buyers saw value in owning a premium-branded asset in a core DFW submarket,” McDavid said. “Given the recent renovation, new ownership is well positioned to focus on driving performance and capitalizing on the continued growth of the DFW metroplex.”
