Hospitality technology provider Unifocus has launched an AI-powered workforce management and operations platform designed to provide hoteliers with visibility across the workforce lifecycle.

Known as Unifocus Claira, the platform combines labor and operations functions that have traditionally been managed through separate technology systems and data sources. It provides capabilities across labor forecasting, budgeting, planning, scheduling, time and attendance, as well as housekeeping, service, maintenance, inspection and inventory management.

Irving, Texas-based Unifocus said the platform also incorporates AI-powered analytics and a natural-language assistant, Ask Claira, which provides answers and recommendations and can take actions in real time. The company said Claira is designed specifically for the select-service segment.

AI capabilities are integrated throughout the platform, including tools intended to help operators optimize schedules, support compliance and identify when tasks should be reassigned. The platform also provides workforce cost, productivity and operational data through dashboards for both property-level and above-property teams.

For above-property users, corporate dashboards provide portfolio-level metrics that can be used to monitor performance and identify changing operational needs across properties.

“Hospitality leaders have never needed greater visibility into their people, operations and performance, yet many are still working across disconnected systems and data,” John Lockyer, CEO of Unifocus, said in a statement. “Unifocus Claira changes that by simplifying hoteliers’ technology needs and bringing labor, operations and AI together in one purpose-built platform.”
