Looking to give hotel companies greater visibility across their portfolios, Unifocus has introduced enhancements to its workforce management and operations platform, including the addition of artificial intelligence capabilities.
The updates are designed to extend the platform beyond property-level management by providing portfolio-wide operational analytics, expanded reporting, AI-powered labor insights and enhanced inspection capabilities.
A new Corporate Operations analytics dashboard enables hotel companies to monitor operational performance across maintenance, housekeeping, inspections, service and guest issue management from a single portfolio-wide view, according to the Irving, Texas-based technology provider. The dashboard is designed to help corporate and regional teams compare performance across multiple properties.
“Our customers are managing tighter margins and higher guest expectations than ever, and they need technology that helps them confidently and proactively take action to keep business on track,” Unifocus CEO John Lockyer said in a statement. “These enhancements bring AI-driven insight to solutions hoteliers already trust, built on more than 25 years of hospitality insight and expertise.”
The company has also consolidated operational workflows into a single Unifocus Operations App, which is designed to allow hotel staff to manage housekeeping, maintenance, inspections, service requests and guest issues from one application. New reporting tools provide managers with additional operational data and performance insights.
The workforce management platform now includes AI-powered labor analysis that identifies the causes of labor variances, categorizes potential risks—including labor cost, overtime, productivity, operational and forecasting issues—and recommends actions to address them. A redesigned home screen highlights key labor, scheduling and operational information when users log in.
Unifocus also updated its inspection tools with standardized templates, weighted scoring, expanded analytics, collaborative inspections and enhanced audit capabilities.
