SuitePad opens first U.S. office, adds 10 hotels to portfolio

SuitePad, a Berlin-based provider of in-room tablets for hotels, has opened its first U.S. office in Orlando, marking a key step in its North American expansion.

The company had already signed 10 hotels in the U.S. prior to the launch of the new office, including the Brownwood Hotel & Spa in The Villages, Marenas Beach Resort in Florida and two properties managed by Wagner Hospitality: the Iris Hotel Boston and Iris Hotel Cape Cod. With the Florida office now open, SuitePad plans to onboard its first U.S. hotels in the coming months and expand its footprint across North America through 2025.

Moritz von Petersdorff-Campen, CEO, SuitePad, is overseeing the U.S. rollout from Orlando and is building a local team that will provide regionally based customer support. “Opening our U.S. office is a strategic step to meet the needs of hotels in the region more directly,” Moritz said in a statement, adding that the early signings point to strong market demand.

The Brownwood Hotel & Spa was SuitePad’s first U.S. partner. “We were looking for a solution that could enhance guest communication and streamline service requests,” said general manager Gilles Cassiani.

Wagner Hospitality also cited the ability to offer faster, more efficient guest service as reasons for adopting the platform.
