Staypineapple is expanding its partnership with AI-based guest intelligence platform Abra Hospitality following an initial implementation at the brand’s Chicago hotel.
Kirkland, Wash.-based Staypineapple plans to deploy Abra across the remainder of its portfolio, including properties in New York City, San Francisco, Boston, Seattle and Portland. Kihei, Hawaii-based Abra combines guest information from hotel systems and employees and makes that information accessible across departments. The platform integrates with Staypineapple’s existing technology systems, including Mews, to create a centralized record of guest preferences and interactions.
Employees can add information gathered through conversations with guests, while the platform distributes relevant guest details to departments including front desk, housekeeping and food and beverage. The platform also includes employee recognition features intended to identify staff members involved in delivering personalized guest experiences.

It’s why they remember us and why they come back,” Dina Belon, president of Staypineapple, said in a statement. “Our continuous goal is to make those unforgettable moments happen consistently at every property. We went looking for technology that could help us do that at scale, and Abra met those needs by expanding the level of personalization we have cultivated as a company.”
Staypineapple is Abra’s latest multi-property customer. According to the company, its other hotel customers have reported average RevPAR growth of approximately 13 percent, a 10 percent increase in occupancy and a six-point increase in Net Promoter Scores following implementation of the platform.
