Shiji marks 400th Infrasys POS Installation at Hyatt Hotel

Shiji has completed the 400th installation of its Infrasys POS platform at the Hyatt Regency Greenville, reaching a milestone in its technology partnership with Hyatt that began in 2019.

The 327-room Hyatt Regency Greenville in South Carolina is a full-service property located downtown within walking distance of the city’s dining, nightlife and retail district. The hotel features a farm-to-table restaurant and a separate lounge.

“Implementing Infrasys POS has been a game changer for our team,” Michael Agostino, director of food & beverage at Hyatt Regency Greenville, said in a statement. “The system’s ease-of-use and flexibility allow our staff to deliver faster, more seamless service across our outlets.”

“Infrasys POS was designed to support complex, multi-outlet hotel environments where speed, flexibility and brand standards are critical,” said Ryan King, SVP of Shiji, Americas.

In addition to the core Infrasys POS system, the installation includes Stellaris Digital Dine, QSR/KDS—introduced for the first time at a Hyatt location—and Infrasys POS Move, an all-in-one mobile point-of-sale solution. Together, the technologies are part of a unified food-and-beverage ecosystem designed to improve service speed, operational visibility and consistency across outlets, according to the Singapore-based technology provider.

The company further noted the platform allows hotel teams to manage orders, payments and guest preferences in real time, while providing guests with multiple ordering options through personal devices or on-site tablets. The QSR/KDS system is designed to enable real-time kitchen coordination, and the mobile POS hardware allows staff to process transactions and serve guests throughout the property.
