Journey has been named a preferred provider of digital marketing, website and gift-voucher solutions within The Leading Hotels of the World’s Leading Strategic Sourcing program.
The LSS program—operated in collaboration with DayBlink GPO—provides member hotels access to technology, marketing and commercial services intended to support operational and revenue performance. LHW represents more than 425 independent luxury hotels in over 80 countries.
Under the agreement, LHW member hotels will have access to Journey’s digital marketing, website and gift voucher technology platforms. The Cheltenham, U.K.-based company said the services are designed to support direct revenue generation and online guest engagement while streamlining operational processes. Journey currently works with several LHW member hotels, including The Landmark London and Beaverbrook Surrey Hills.
“Guests expect seamless digital experiences they can personalize to their exact preferences, but the real opportunity lies in how hotel experiences are packaged, promoted and presented to guests, not just rooms,” Simon Bullingham, founder and CEO of Journey, said in a statement. “Our alliance with LHW is about giving independent hotels the tools to do exactly that, offering a more joined-up experience, driving conversion, increasing total guest spend and making digital commerce a core part of their commercial strategy.”
“As our member hotels look to expand beyond traditional room revenue, Journey’s capabilities support a more holistic retail model that enables hotels to better package, personalize and monetize the full guest experience,” added Sean Fitzgerald, vp, operations at DayBlink Ventures.
