IRIS teams with Global Hotel Alliance on mobile ordering

IRIS x GHA Global Hotel Alliance Partnership
(IRIS)

IRIS has formed a strategic partnership with Global Hotel Alliance that will make its mobile ordering and digital guest experience platform available to GHA’s portfolio of independent hotel brands worldwide.

Under the agreement, GHA member brands—representing more than 50 brands across 100 countries—will have access to IRIS’s digital F&B ordering, Guest Directory and Mobile Concierge solutions. The technology is designed to help hotels increase ancillary revenue, streamline operations and meet rising guest expectations for mobile and contactless services.

As demand for in-hotel mobile ordering continues to grow, IRIS’s platform provides hotels with a 24/7 digital experience for guests and staff. The system allows guests to browse, order and pay for food, beverages and services across multiple outlets, while reducing manual processes and easing labor pressures for operators.

The platform is designed to scale across multi-brand and multi-property portfolios, with support for multiple languages and centralized deployment. According to IRIS, its solutions address common operational challenges in F&B, including low capture rates, service friction and time-intensive ordering, while enabling new revenue streams without increasing operational complexity.

The partnership is effective immediately, with IRIS’s platform available for integration across GHA’s global portfolio. Individual member brands can deploy the solutions within their own operations based on their specific needs and strategies.

“We are seeing a steady rise in demand from our hotel operators for mobile technology that improves both guest satisfaction and revenue,” GHA COO Folker Heim said in a statement. “Our partnership with IRIS is central to our strategy of giving our member hotels access to advanced digital solutions that support their operational and financial goals.”

Graham Rushin, vice president of sales and marketing at IRIS, said the agreement validates the growing importance of mobile ordering in hotel operations. “Being selected as a strategic partner recognizes the role IRIS can play in delivering a consistent, seamless guest experience across a diverse hotel group,” he said.

The companies said they will work closely together to support GHA member brands as they expand and evolve their digital guest engagement strategies.
