Hudini expands digital check-in solution across Nobu’s portfolio

Hudini has entered into an agreement with Nobu Hotels to deploy its Staff Connect digital check-in solution across the luxury lifestyle brand's global hotel portfolio.

The rollout supports Nobu Hotels’ efforts to streamline the guest arrival process by providing front desk staff with a digital check-in workflow designed to reduce administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Miami Beach, Fla.-based Nobu Hotels—which was founded by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper—began implementing Staff Connect in 2025, with initial deployments at Nobu Hotel Toronto and Nobu Hotel Barcelona. Additional implementations are planned throughout 2026, including Nobu Hotel Los Cabos and other properties across the portfolio.

“Switching from paper registration cards to a fully digital check-in with Hudini has made our arrival experience smoother and more efficient while significantly reducing paper waste,” Munir Viñas, director of front office at Nobu Hotel Barcelona, said in a statement. “A simple change that has made a big difference for both our guests and the environment.”

Staff Connect integrates with hotel property management systems and payment gateways, with features including room assignment, keycard encoding, electronic registration and digital ID scanning with optical character recognition, according to the Hoboken, NJ-based digital transformation solutions provider. The company further noted the platform synchronizes guest information with the PMS in real time and supports paperless registration through digital registration cards and document management.

“Partnering with Nobu Hotels marks an exciting milestone for Hudini. Their brand is synonymous with elevated hospitality and attention to detail, and we are proud to support their vision with technology that simplifies operations while enhancing the guest journey,” added Prince Thampi, founder and CEO of Hudini.
