Highpointe Hotel Corp., a full-service hotel management and development company based in Gulf Breeze, Fla., has chosen Venza to provide expanded cybersecurity and compliance services. Highpointe operates over a dozen properties throughout the Southeastern U.S.

Highpointe will be using Venza's Denali program, which includes a wide-ranging suite of security awareness training and data protection tools. Venza's system of 360-degree visibility builds data protection through a robust human firewall and propels a strong security awareness culture for proactive management of risks.

As a major focus of its services, Venza will provide Highpointe with its tools for PCI DSS compliance. These include access to Venza’s PCI Compliance Portal, use of the self-assessment questionnaire wizard and delivery of external and internal vulnerability scanning.

“For over 40 years, Highpointe has maintained a reputation among our clients and guests as one of the industry’s premier hotel management and development companies,” Mark Pate, assistant controller and IT director at the Highpointe Hotel, said in a statement. “A core component of that is trust that we uphold the highest standards in all areas of business, including data protection. That is why we chose Venza, a leader in the hospitality space, to support our robust security and compliance practices.”
