Dish Business debuts OnStream platform

OnStream will provide several features through TV screens, including access to streaming and linear TV content, digital checkout and menus for onsite dining options. Guests will be able to request linens, housekeeping, room service and other amenities from their TV.

Dish Business' technology connects TVs to to the hotel's back-end systems, including property-management system, helping hotels power self-service actions. Hotels can unlock new revenue streams with on-screen advertising to property-centric dining, shopping, spas, special events and casinos. Additionally, OnStream will soon tap into loyalty data to personalize guest offers, helping hoteliers elevate services for the next generation of guests. 

OnStream includes features like native casting, built-in third-party streaming apps and cross-channel search.
