The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Foundation has announced its 2026 Board of Directors and Executive Committee with Amanda Voss of Commercial and Sales Executive, assuming the role of chair.
Voss succeeds Lori Kiel, senior vice president of revenue at Pyramid Global Hospitality, who has completed her two-year term. The 2026 leadership slate reflects a broad cross-section of hospitality industry stakeholders spanning hotels, brands, destinations and service providers. The Foundation said it will continue to focus on advancing a skilled and diverse commercial workforce to support long-term industry performance and competitiveness.
“I’m honored to lead the HSMAI Foundation alongside such a dynamic and dedicated group of leaders,” Voss said in a statement. “Together, we have an opportunity to build a more resilient and future-ready hospitality workforce by expanding access to education, mentorship and career development across the industry.”
In addition to Voss, the 2026 Executive Committee also includes Noreen Henry, chief revenue officer at Aven Hospitality, as vice chair; Lexy Coley, corporate director of talent development at Omni Hotels & Resorts, as treasurer; Kiel as immediate past chair; Kristie Goshow, chief commercial officer at Loews Hotels, as secretary; and Brian Hicks as president and CEO.
The 2026 Board of Directors includes Brandon Ahearn, senior director of sales, hospitality at Milestone, Inc.; Rosemary Browning, CEO of Global Career Horizons; Lovell Casiero, CEO at DerbySoft; Mike Gamble, president and CEO of Searchwide Global; Rick Garlick, principal consultant at bvaBdrc; Tammy Gillis, CEO and founder of Gillis Sales; Michael Goldrich, founder and chief advisor of Vivander Advisors; Caryl Helsel, founder and CEO of Dragonfly Strategists; Robert Kwortnik, associate professor at Cornell University; Monique Lee, group vp at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts; Breffni Noone, professor at Penn State University; Alyssa Petty, director of global sales excellence at IHG Hotels & Resorts; Anthony Rose, principal director of strategic growth at Plusgrade; Bernadette Ruby, VP, sales at Amadeus Hospitality; Deb Surden, senior director of market management at Expedia Group; and Cheryl Williams, chief revenue officer at Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

The McLean, Va.-based Foundation said the incoming board will support its ongoing initiatives centered on talent development, education and industry research aimed at strengthening the global hospitality workforce.
