The Lodge at Jackson Hole (Wy.) has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation under its ownership of Athos Capital Partners, which purchased the hotel in 2019. The property sits 12 miles from Grand Teton, an hour from Yellowstone National Park and less than one mile from the historic Town Square.
The property has 10,000 square feet of meeting space at its conference center, a fitness room with spa treatments, indoor/outdoor heated pools with jetted tubs and sauna, a breakfast buffet served daily alongside an evening lounge with full bar and light bites, artwork from local artists, complimentary town shuttle and skier shuttles, and more.
“After nearly three years of extensive renovations, we are delighted to welcome guests to the transformed Lodge at Jackson Hole," General Manager Jeff Brogan said in a statement. "Both locals and returning travelers will be amazed by the comprehensive updates to the property, inside and out. There's so much to discover at the hotel and its surroundings, including national parks, trails and the vibrant Town Square, we’re eager to welcome new and returning guests.”
The Design
Local design firm WRJ consulted on the common areas and room renovations, which integrate the natural beauty of its surroundings with modern amenities. To enhance the lodge's feel, exterior work was done to refresh the building, including replacement of the facade, installation of new landscaping surrounding the property, and refurbishment of the wood bear artwork was done throughout the property.
In addition to the design, the team at The Lodge at Jackson Hole worked with local photographer Jeremy Hutchison for in-room photography of the local naturescape. They also teamed up with the Jackson Hole Historical Society to create a curated art program for the hotel's common areas, which features hundreds of works of art.
In the lobby, a fireplace and comfortable sitting area welcomes guests with a grand lodge pole beam staircase flanking the entrance. All common areas have updated design and furnishings, while each guestroom received a complete renovation.
"This hotel renovation has been an immensely rewarding endeavor. By modernizing our facilities and enhancing our amenities, we offer an exceptional balance of contemporary, western luxury that blends with the charm of the region," said Christie Reinhardt, area director of hotel operations. “Visiting is the only way to fully immerse yourself in the natural splendor and adventure of Jackson Hole. Whether you seek thrilling outdoor activities or a peaceful retreat, you're sure to have an unforgettable stay."
The Guestrooms
With 154 premium guestrooms, all of which are 400 square feet, the design is reminiscent of a cozy cabin retreat. Room furnishings echo the rustic lifestyle with modern influence, with pops of plaid mixed with tan leather accent furniture, floor-to-ceiling tiled fireplaces and private balconies to take in the views of the mountain range. Thoughtful design elements help guests live in luxury, including private living areas with additional seating and sleeping accommodations, plush bedding, marble bathrooms with rain showers and custom blended lemongrass bath amenities, in-room mini fridge, coffee maker and 50-inch smart tv with the latest technologies.
Additional amenities include the newly renovated pool that immerses guests in the surrounding mountain range with its all-season access. Guests can relax in multiple jetted spas or unwind in the sauna year-round. The on-site fitness center includes modern Life Fitness workout machines and an array of spa offerings run by massage professionals.
