Staybridge Suites Peoria reopens following renovation

KingsLane Group has completed a full transformation of the Staybridge Suites Peoria (Ill.), a 105-suite property first opened in 2000.

The project—which began after Raleigh, N.C.-based KLG acquired the hotel in 2021—reimagines the extended-stay concept with redesigned guestrooms, public spaces and work areas intended to meet the needs of business and leisure travelers.

“Hospitality is about more than a place to sleep, it’s about creating experiences that travelers want to return to and communities are proud to host,” Nitin Khanna, managing principal and CEO of KingsLane Group, said in a statement. “This renovation at Staybridge Suites Peoria underscores our commitment to delivering upgraded spaces and amenities designed for the needs of modern travelers.”

The Illinois hotel’s reopening comes amid broader investments downtown, including Bradley University’s Business & Engineering Complex and the new OSF Healthcare headquarters. KLG leaders positioned the project as both an upgrade to the property and an investment in Peoria’s economic revitalization.
