The Sheraton Fort Worth (Texas) Downtown has started a $45 million renovation. The upgrade will include a redesigned entryway, additional suites, several new workspace studios for small meetings, a signature restaurant and bar named West+Stone as well as &More by Sheraton, which offers an all-day menu for in-hotel dining or takeaway.
Located across the street from the Fort Worth Convention Center, work is taking place in phases so the twin-tower hotel and its conference space can remain open throughout. The project is scheduled to be completed in fall 2023.
Large floor-to-ceiling windows and removing walls in the lobby aim to create a more open space and encourage conversations. The almost 30,00 square feet of conference space located on the second floor, including a large ballroom, got a new carpet, lighting, furniture and audiovisual technology.
The updated 403 guestrooms will have platform beds, 55-inch televisions, adjustable work tables, numerous charging outlets and power sources in addition to expanded bathrooms.
The Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown will have 37 suites, compared to 25 today, including three suites with more than 1,000 square feet. The top-floor Trinity Suite will have a large parlor and two bedrooms with king-sized beds.
The changes are part of the Sheraton’s new signature experience, first announced in 2018.
