Nashville’s newly repositioned Hutton Hotel completes $40M renovation

The Hutton Hotel has completed a $40 million, multi-year renovation that encompassed nearly all areas of the 246-room Nashville hotel.

The renovation—which was done in conjunction with a broader repositioning of the property’s brand and operations—was led by New York-based design firm AvroKO. Upgrades include a redesigned lobby, refreshed guestrooms and suites, new dining concepts and the introduction of a spa and fitness center expected to open in spring 2026.

Ownership—a joint venture led by New York-based The Georgetown Company—has emphasized a repositioning strategy that extends beyond physical improvements to include updated brand identity, service standards, staff uniforms and digital platforms.

“This relaunch marks a significant moment for Hutton Hotel, elevating every element while honoring its identity as Music City’s defining landmark,” Adam Flatto, CEO of The Georgetown Company, said in a statement. “The hotel has always had a certain rhythm. Now, we’ve turned up the volume to provide guests with a true lifestyle experience when visiting an ever-evolving destination like Nashville.”

The lobby has been reconfigured as a communal social space with the addition of Mimi’s, a lobby bar concept operating throughout the day. The space also includes a Vinyl Listening Lounge and features programmed live music and DJ performances. A curated art collection is displayed throughout the lobby, with works spanning multiple media and artists.

Guestrooms—including 51 suites, two penthouses, and a 3,000-square-foot signature suite— have been redesigned with updated furnishings, finishes and in-room amenities. Enhancements include locally sourced minibar offerings, music-focused features such as record players and instruments and upgraded bath and design elements.

The Tennessee property’s new restaurant, Evelyn’s, serves as the hotel’s primary dining venue. The concept draws on American cuisine with seasonal influences and is led by executive chef Lucas Fleming. The restaurant includes private dining rooms and an outdoor terrace.

Meeting and event facilities totaling more than 20,000 square feet were also updated. The spaces accommodate a range of functions, from small meetings to large-scale events of up to 1,500 attendees.

The forthcoming spa and fitness center will span approximately 3,200 square feet and include treatment rooms, a salon and barbershop, fitness equipment and wellness amenities.
