Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport updates event space

The Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport has completed the first stage of its renovation, which began with a redesign of its 10,000-square-foot Continental Ballroom.

Design firm Anderson Miller led the redesign of the event space, which can host up to 1,000 guests. The next phase—expected to begin in 2026—will include a redesigned lobby bar, the addition of a Hyatt Regency Market, updates to the hotel’s amphitheater-style Briefing Room and refreshed front desk and guest corridors.

The renovation—which is financially supported by the hotel’s ownership group—is part of a broader plan to modernize the property while leveraging its location inside Orlando International Airport.

“This is a significant milestone for our property,” Bruce McDonald, general manager of Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, said in a statement. “We look forward to hosting events in this new space and continuing our renovation journey.”

The new event space now has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the airport, new chandeliers and lighting, updated carpet and wallpaper, upgraded HVAC systems and a renovated pre-function area.
