Hotel operator InnVentures has completed the rebranding and renovation of the former Holiday Inn & Suites Santa Maria, which has reopened as the Homewood Suites by Hilton Santa Maria.
Renovations to the 197-room, all-suite property included a complete guestroom redesign, updates to the resort-style pool and outdoor BBQ area and an expanded fitness center with upgraded equipment. The project was carried out in partnership with Wilsonville, Ore.-based ownership group BHG Hotels, general contractor Naran Construction and interior design firm Level 3 Design Group.
“This transformation reflects our commitment to elevating hospitality in the Central Coast,” Bakulesh Patel, owner, BHG Hotels, said in a statement. “We’re proud to welcome guests to a modern all-suite experience under the Hilton flag.”
The California hotel has been modernized to better serve extended-stay travelers across business, leisure, military and long-term segments. Public spaces were refreshed to incorporate contemporary finishes and select one-bedroom suites now include high-efficiency stackable washers and dryers. The Range Kitchen + Bar was introduced as the hotel’s new dining venue, offering locally inspired cuisine, dinner service and a full bar.
Kent, Wash.-based InnVentures has also appointed Megan Taylor as general manager. Taylor brings leadership experience within the Hilton brand to oversee the hotel’s next phase of operations.
