Embassy Suites by Hilton and 245 LGC Hotel Partners, a U.S.-based private real estate investment company, in conjunction with Quorum Hotels & Resorts, completed a $7.7-million renovation of the Hilton Suites Lexington (Ky.) Green and branded the hotel as the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington Green. The propertywide renovation included a revamp of the guestrooms and public spaces, and pays homage to Kentucky’s heritage of thoroughbred racing and bourbon with a modern twist.
Quorum Hotels & Resorts acquired the 174-room full-service hotel in June 2016 with plans to implement a renovation and rebranding program. The hotel is located in Lexington’s shopping and dining district, and is minutes from Blue Grass Airport and Keeneland Racetrack.
“With its central location to shops, attractions and value-added amenities, Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington Green, is the perfect addition for all travelers,” Alan Roberts, global head of Embassy Suites by Hilton, said in a statement. “Guests can also enjoy the property’s quiet lakeside location and outdoor patio to relax after a busy day.”
Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington Green offers two-room suites, and provides guests with a free cooked-to-order breakfast each morning, free Wi-Fi and complimentary drinks and snacks during the evening reception.
“Following our extensive renovation and rebranding, our suites are stylishly furnished, where guests can enjoy a living area, a work desk and private bedroom,” Pam Avery, GM of the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington Green, said in a statement. “As commercial activity continues to strengthen in Lexington, it has become a prime destination for both business and leisure travelers.”
The hotel is part of the Lexington Green Shopping Center, and includes more than 3,000 square feet of meeting space that can accommodate groups of up to 150 people. The property also hosts amenities including a restaurant with Kentucky-flavored dining, business center, outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, gift shop and outdoor event space.
