Atrium Hospitality has completed multimillion-dollar renovation of the 275-suite Hilton Charlotte Airport in North Carolina, with 28,300 square feet of updated meeting space. The hotel’s two-year capital improvements covered shared areas, guest suites, two executive floors, a private dining area, the open-air atrium and event spaces, including a new executive boardroom.
The redesigned public areas and guest suites got modern fixtures, wood finishes and textiles in grays and blues. The property also added several Five Feet to Fitness rooms to the inventory, with more than 11 different fitness equipment options and accessories, and Ethos Wellness, a premium room upgrade with a curated collection of wellness products and amenities.
The hotel's 28,300 square feet of refurbished event space includes two grand ballrooms that can be reconfigured into 11 sections.
“For more than two decades, our Queen City hotel has been an active community partner, including by addressing local food insecurity,” said Melanie Maes, GM of the hotel. “In addition, the Hilton Charlotte Airport is helping Project Search interns learn employability skills through their participation in the school-to-work program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We’re excited to have eight interns participating in our hotel’s current Project Search class.”
