Hilton Anaheim, located near Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland Resort, begins its multi-million dollar full property enhancements on the 1,574-room hotel, with a fresh, modern redesign with a nod to the hotel’s past while embracing California’s charm. The transformation begins this summer and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2025. The full-scale renovation will include redesigned guestrooms and suites, upgrades to the 105,959 square feet of meeting and event space, restaurant and bar rebrand, improved outdoor spaces, and more.
“Since opening 40 years ago, we have been delivering magical experiences to our guests, and we look forward to continuing Hilton Anaheim’s unparalleled hospitality throughout the renovation and beyond,” General Manager Sergio Bocci said in a statement. “The entire team at Hilton Anaheim is excited and proud to announce this impressive enhancement project that will allow us to continue to elevate guests’ experiences and preserve our place as the most sought-after premier destination for meetings, conventions and magical getaways in Southern California.”
Originally built for the 1984 Olympics with the purpose of unifying people from across the globe, Hilton Anaheim’s transformation will reinforce that commitment to bringing communities together with a design focused on comfort and style, bright colors and light. Enriched communal public spaces, including the lobby and bar area, will be designed to welcome guests and encourage them to occupy the spaces while enjoying the unparalleled service and amenities at Hilton Anaheim.
A grand overhead accent light fixture will center the lobby, and other improvements aimed at elevating the design to the next generation include updated modern seating, warm wood fixtures and accents, new carpet throughout the hotel in an eye-catching and inviting blue jewel tone, and added greenery.
All 1,572 guestrooms and suites have a spacious, bright and warm environment that exudes a feeling of refined comfort. The color palette includes soothing earth tones with accents of vibrant blues depicting the greater landscape surrounding the property.
For business travelers, the hotel’s meeting and event spaces will be updated with new desks and chairs catering to modern professionals. Featuring deeper wood tones, leather-like vinyl and horizon-inspired wallcoverings, the renovated ballrooms will offer exquisite accommodations for any type of event, from conferences to weddings.
